Elvin Yong: Tengu
In a limited series of three exclusive prints, we celebrate the craft that Elvin Yong has honed, a craft where every line, shade, and color blends to narrate tales inked in permanence.
Popular in Japanese Folklore, this art piece features Tengu, a legendary creature believed to be a type of Yokai or Kami in Shinto belief. Often thought to take the forms of birds of prey and a monkey deity. According to legend, this creature is renowned for swordsmanship skills and is said to have taught the military arts to Minamoto No Yoshitsune.
